Brain Beat is a brain training product made by Interactive Metronome, IM, who approached me to take their core interactive metronome used in hospitals and make a product that would appeal to young family’s who had children with attention problems.

I was designer, art director, and producer and I ran every aspect of the production from initial concepts all the way through to finding and working with a 3rd party testing company.

Nearly everything I do uses the industrial design process, I came up with a bunch of loose concepts that I presented to IM, this shortens the process because you can quickly drop ideas that don’t work and focus on the ideas that have merit.  Here are my 9 initial direction themes.
